Dog Walker Marketing
  • Hi all,

I want to ask a question regarding a directory of dog walkers I launched on DogWalker.com. What do you think is the best way to reach out to dog walking companies to let them know about the website? It gets over 6,000 visitors a month now, so it might be a good opportunity, especially since some markets are underserved right now.

    Thanks for your feedback!
  • Hi, I would say ranking highly on the search engines for keywords would garner the most attention/interest. Advertisers will want to know where those 6,000 visitors a month are located. A walker in Los Angeles will want lots of LA hits etc. So I'd gear your site as locally as you can and that plus an active number of visitors to your site should garner interest organically plus in emails/phone calls directly soliciting your service. Hope that helps, thanks, Josh
  • Be sure to create a Facebook page and Twitter feed. This provides you with the opportunity to connect with your target audience, dog walkers who are also on FB and Twitter. You can also post articles related to pet care, dog walking etc. to show that you are an authority on the subject, which will attract dog walkers to your site.

Make sure to put icons on your site that link to these social networking sites as well. You can check out how we market to our clients by visiting www.cruisincanines.com and clicking on the social network icons.

    Thanks,
    Pam
